Recreation is an important part of the Warm Beach Experience.

Get away from your everyday schedule and experience the thrill of the High Ropes Challenge Course, the challenge of the 40-foot Climbing Tower, or for those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the Swimming Pools, Canoes, Mini-golf and Disc Golf. All our recreation options allow you to relax and have fun at your own pace.

A variety of team sport facilities are available, on a first come-first served basis: Volleyball Courts, Basketball Courts that double as Tennis Courts, andHorseshoe pits. Two Play Fields forSoccer, Football, or Softball, and much more are all available.

pool_150pxTwo heated outdoor swimming pools bring fun and excitement to events held at Warm Beach Camp. The smaller is 20' X 50' and has a depth of 4 feet. The larger is 25' X 50' and has a 7 feet depth area in half and slopes to a depth of 3 feet for the other half.

High Ropes Challenge Course The 25-foot suspended High Ropes Circuit builds your team's individual confidence and trust in each other by moving team members out of their comfort and into a situation of "perceived risk." Participants will achieve more as individuals and a group than ever thought possible!

The Climbing Tower is a three-sided, 40' tower with varying degrees of climbing challenge. Climbs are set up for 6 to 18 climbers per hour* session. Rock-like hand and foot holds teach you to defy gravity as you tackle the three sides of our forty-foot Climbing Tower. Conquer "The Wall" and your fears, in a fun, supervised, exciting and supportive environment.

canoe_150pxEnjoy a breath-taking boating experience through the vast wetlands of Port Susan Bay, where hundreds of different types of waterfowl make their home. Canoeing can be used as recreation or instructional time. It's a fantastic place to study estuary ecosystems!

thumb_250_recfield_03Warm Beach has two large recreation fields, the EAST and WEST fields.
If your group has a concentrated period of time that you would like to use one of the fields, they may be reserved through the Guest Service office. Fields can be reserved at no charge.

mini-golf_150px9 hole mini-golf course is waiting for you at the Miniature Golf Course. Located next to the swimming pools and tennis courts, the course is great recreation for all ages. Disc Golf is played similar to ball golf, but uses specially designed flying discs thrown at metal "pole holes," or elevated baskets (nine hole course, no charge).

Reservation Policies

Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center reserves the right to qualify all prospective users. Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center provides group rentals to non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, churches, educational organizations. The Camp is not able to serve private parties such as weddings and reunions. As an integrated auxiliary ministry of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free Methodist Church of North America, Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center abides by the doctrines and teachings of the Free Methodist Church of North America, as contained in the Free Methodist Church, Book of Discipline (latest edition). Groups, and Programs offered by guest groups, may not be in conflict with the doctrines contained in the Book of Discipline. Rules for acceptance and participation of guests in each group are the same for everyone without regard to sex, race, color, handicap, or nation of origin.

Challenge Course Staff

Our Challenge Course meets the standards set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). Our Challenge Course facilitators are highly trained with years of experience in the industry. Every facilitator meets the minimum competencies as a challenge course practitioner as set forth by the Association for Challenge Course Technology.

Lindsey has always loved playing outdoors. She started on the Challenge Course at Warm Beach Camp in 2007, and found her passion. After working locally and abroad with numerous youth and outdoor organizations, she graduated in 2012 from Trinity Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Children, Youth & Family Studies, focusing on Outdoor Leadership. Lindsey believes in the transformative power of outdoor experiences and is excited to serve as the Youth & Outdoor Ministries Director.

Spencer is passionate about seeing spiritual and emotional growth in individuals and believes that challenge course and recreational activities is a great way to achieve these goals. Spencer has worked in the challenge course industry for nine years and keeps safety as a top priority. He is a qualified trainer, a certified in-house inspector, and Challenge Course Manager.
